NCT Course Registration
This course will be in-house for labs and online for lectures, every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
The NCT course covers a large amount of information. In order to effectively and efficiently teach the details, it is imperative that the student-to-teacher ratio stays small, so every participant receives appropriate training. We guarantee that each student will receive the education necessary to produce quality X-rays once they have completed the course.
Students will be ready to take X-rays upon completion of the course and registration with the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Practitioner's Licensing Board. Classes will be held every Saturday over a total of 8 weeks.
All Star Education/NCT Training, Inc. is unique in providing each student with published textbooks for the course. There is no additional charge. We have adopted Radiography Essentials for Limited Practice Second Edition by Long, Frank and Ehrlich and Merrill’s Pocket Guide to Radiography by Frank into our curriculum. In our lab, we provide various types of functioning X-ray equipment systems (exposure disabled) and film processors for fully hands-on training. Radiologists are available for review, interpretation and suggestions from a physician’s standpoint to help the students better understand the concepts at work.
To educate ancillary medical staff in technique selection, radiation protection, radiographic anatomy and positioning in order to produce the best-quality radiographic films possible in their own medical facility. This involves assuring minimal exposure to the patient, staff and public, and assisting physicians when making diagnoses and creating the right treatment regimens.
*The regular NCT Course fee is $ 1,250.00 per student. Space is limited to 25 Students. Spots available after the registration deadline will cost $1,450.00, and there is no guarantee that textbooks will be available on start date.
