Additional NCT Training Course Information

This NCT course covers a large amount of information and in order to effectively and efficiently teach in detail, it is imperative that the student teacher ratio be small so that each student receives appropriate training in the diagnostic field. We guarantee to the physician that each student will receive the information necessary to produce quality x-ray films when they have completed the course. The NCT Course fee is $1,500.00 per student.

Students will be ready to take x-rays upon the completion of the course and registration with the Texas Department of Health and the Practitioner's Licensing Board. Classes will be held every Saturday for a total of 16 weeks.

All Star Education/NCT Training, Inc. is unique in providing each student with published textbooks for the course. There is no additional charge! We have adopted Radiography Essentials for Limited Practice Second Edition by Long, Frank, and Ehrlich as our curriculum. We also provide Merrill’s Pocket Guide to Radiography by Frank. In our lab, we provide various types of functioning x-ray equipment systems (exposure disabled) and film processors for the students to do hands on training. Radiologists are available for review, interpretation, and suggestions from a physicians stand point to help the students better understand various concepts.

Mission Statement: To educate ancillary medical staff proficiently in technique selection, radiation protection, radiographic anatomy and positioning in order for them to produce the best quality radiographic films possible in their own radiology environment using minimal exposure to the patient, staff and public and therefore aide the physician with providing quality healthcare in diagnosis.
